// about

I'm a Cybersecurity Honors student at RIMT University, and I break down security, AI, and internet culture for people who want to actually understand the systems running their world — not just fear them or scroll past them.

That's what Sudo Culture is: a 1,000+ member community where I document the process honestly — the confusion, the small wins, the concepts that took three tries to click. I also write Cyber Simplified, a weekly newsletter that decodes one cybersecurity or tech concept at a time for people starting from zero.

I'm Technical Head at the AWS Student Builder Group RIMT, and I get hands-on with TryHackMe, Hack The Box, PicoCTF, OverTheWire Bandit, and PortSwigger's Web Security Academy.

Things I've built

Designed, developed, and deployed the official website for AWS Student Builder Group RIMT, solo.

Built end-to-end: home, about, events, team, gallery, achievements, and a secure admin portal for content and event management. Includes an interactive Team Portal with individual login credentials for core team members. Live at aws.adityacyber.in.

Vulnerability Scanning Lab

02

Built a virtual cybersecurity lab for vulnerability assessment and network recon.

Used Nmap and Nessus Essentials to identify open ports, active services, and security weaknesses. Documented findings and explored remediation strategies to strengthen system security.

Currently building.

Honeypot Deployment

01

Running Cowrie/T-Pot on a VPS to log and analyze real attacker behavior. Full write-up coming once I have 2-4 weeks of data.

Web App Pentest

02

Practicing full pentest methodology on DVWA and OWASP Juice Shop: recon, exploitation, and remediation reporting.

Home Lab & Network Segmentation

03

Building a segmented network with pfSense and VLANs, testing IDS detection with Suricata.

Malware Analysis (Sandboxed)

04

Static and dynamic analysis of safe, known samples in an isolated environment, mapping behavior to MITRE ATT&CK.

SOC/SIEM Simulation

05

Setting up an ELK stack to ingest honeypot logs and build real detection rules and dashboards.

CTF Write-ups

06

Documenting solved challenges across web, crypto, and forensics categories, focused on the reasoning process, not just flags.

Each of these becomes a full write-up once complete. Check back or follow Sudo Culture for updates.
